Located on the shores of the Étang de Berre , the Marina Plage campground also offers
free water activities !
Let yourself be lulled by the gentle sounds of the water, whether you’re sunbathing, reading a book, or simply recharging
your batteries. The campground beach is partially shaded; an ideal setting for relaxing under the trees.
Swimming is completely safe. The water has a gentle slope, and the swimming area is clearly marked.
Children can safely cool off under the supervision and responsibility of their parents (
there is no lifeguard on site).
Sunbathing, swimming, and
beach games
For your comfort, lounge chairs are available so you can relax and enjoy the sun in peace. Settle in comfortably on the beach and enjoy the tranquility.
The beach club offers equipment rentals, such as surfboards for children, life jackets for water activities, and more.

If you’re looking for a more fun activity to enjoy with family or friends, a pedal boat is the perfect choice. Pedal boats can accommodate up to 4 people and give your leg muscles a good workout—especially if you decide to race against other guests… First to reach the buoys… Laughter and splashes
are guaranteed!
For those who prefer a more traditional experience, canoeing is an ideal option. Paddle leisurely across the waters of the Étang de Berre and enjoy the serenity of the nature around you. Whether you’re alone, with a partner, or in a group, canoeing
offers a relaxing and refreshing experience for all outdoor enthusiasts.
You can also try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding—a true test of balance that offers a wonderful sense of escape. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced paddler, stand-up paddleboarding is a fun activity

Beach Cleanliness and Water Quality
Monitoring
The Marina Plage campground places great importance on the safety and well-being of its guests. The quality of the swimming water is monitored by GIPREB (Public Interest Group for the Restoration of the Étang de Berre). This group conducts weekly water quality tests in the lagoon during the summer, ensuring optimal swimming conditions. Every morning, as well as throughout the day, the beaches are kept clean by the campground staff.
