Situated on the shores of Europe’s largest salt lake, in the town of Vitrolles, the campground is just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean coast.

In July and August, the extensive program of activities—all completely free*—is highly original: camel rides, circus school and circus shows, pony rides, the beach and swimming, water activities (pedal boats, canoes, stand-up paddleboarding…), an introduction to archery, a children’s carousel, dance parties and cabaret shows … But there are also free-access petting zoos featuring animals from around the world and a gym .

development!
Because protecting our natural environment along the shores of the Étang de Berre is a priority, we have implemented a clear and accessible information system to guide our customers in their waste sorting efforts. Informative signs—clearly visible and easy to understand—guide you step by step.
We are convinced that an eco-friendly campground can only exist with everyone’s active participation. By following these guidelines, our guests help us preserve the beauty of our environment and continue to offer vacations in harmony with nature.
Whether on-site or in the offices, Marina Plage Campground implements initiatives to promote sustainable development and organizes waste sorting.
At the campground entrance, the metropolitan area has installed recycling bins for glass, paper, and packaging. Marina Plage supplements this system with a compactor for household waste and a dedicated bin for organic waste .
In the field, the cut vegetation serves as supplemental feed for the animals. The manure,
mixed with the plant material, is recycled and turned into compost. This compost is then used to enrich the soil in green spaces.
At the front desk, there is a bin available for customers and employees to recycle used batteries.
In the rental units and offices, the campground has implemented water conservation measures by installing flow-reducing aerators.
In the offices, air conditioning and heating are used sparingly; whenever
possible, electronic devices are turned off when the offices close; trash cans have separate compartments for recyclable and non-recyclable waste; paper printing is kept to a minimum and is recycled through a specialized company.

Pitch Amenities: All pitches are equipped with air-conditioned mobile homes. The size of the pitches varies depending on the size of the mobile homes on them, ranging from a minimum of 80 m² for the smallest ones to a maximum of 180 m² for the largest models.
