Several factors appear to be inseparable when it comes to ensuring a safe campground, ranging from physical security to the protection of property and risk prevention, as well as respect for nature. Adequate energy-efficient lighting in common areas and the display of a site map\u2014including rules to follow and safety points\u2014are two measures the management has prioritized after installing barriers at the campground\u2019s entrance. Only vehicles belonging to guests are permitted access via an optical scanner that reads the license plates provided at the time of reservation; visitors have a separate parking area at their disposal. A team of security guards stationed in a bungalow monitors the entrances: \u201cThis is my eighth year as a security guard,\u201d<\/em> explains Riad Gouala, who founded his own company, Secure Protect, two years ago. \u201cWe make sure customers follow the guidelines, and <\/em>in the evening, a security guard is on duty at the restaurant.\u201d We occasionally encounter minor issues related to alcohol consumption\u2014nothing too serious\u2014and after 12:30 a.m., we patrol the walkways to prevent noise disturbances. Quite often, we help children who have gotten lost find their way back. If necessary, we may call on the police. We build relationships with regular guests and watch their children grow up.\u201d Since <\/em>
the<\/em> bungalows are located in a wooded area, fire safety is also a critical issue that we take very seriously. The Marina maintains a close working relationship with the firefighters from the Vitrolles fire station, who are regularly welcomed onto the campground to conduct training exercises and inspect the facilities to ensure they comply with current safety standards. Fire extinguishers are installed in the mobile homes and at strategic locations. Smoking and campfires are strictly prohibited, as are charcoal barbecues, but each bungalow is equipped with a ready-to-use electric griddle so that guests can continue to enjoy grilling in complete peace of mind, without smoke or fire hazards. In addition, upon arrival, the front desk strongly encourages guests not to leave their valuables outside their accommodations or in vehicles parked nearby. Regarding sanitation, waste containers with a recycling and sorting station for glass, paper, and packaging are provided outside the facility. Organic waste is composted and turned into soil. Finally, the Marina, which has a large animal park, asks guests to keep a close eye on young children to ensure they do not get too close to certain animals. Management counts on the understanding and cooperation of its guests to work together to make the Marina a safe, environmentally conscious, and welcoming place for everyone.

Fire Safety<\/strong>
Marina Plage has just signed a partnership with Operask, an innovative platform that facilitates communication and coordination for fire prevention and during incidents at campgrounds and public facilities. Developed by a former police officer from the Paris region and a former firefighter from Perpignan, the Operask app is activated via a QR code and instantly sounds the alarm in the event of a problem, connecting all relevant parties\u2014campground management, security guards, firefighters, or police officers, as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
